The Kupu'aina Coalition is an organization dedicated to protecting the "ceded" lands. Kupu'aina believes, in accordance with the Hawai'i Supreme Court's January 31, 2008, landmark ruling, that the state of Hawai'i should not sell "ceded" lands before resolving the unrelinquished claims of Native Hawaiians.
